Last Monday, I began a new writing project. I get up at 5 a.m., pray a bit, then I begin writing whatever comes to my mind and heart. During this early morning time, I often think about you. I’m not sure when my writing will be finished, but you’ll be the first to know.
I received this strong comment today on one of our prayers…
“The Lord, Jesus Christ it’s something that everybody should believe and when they have questions like I just did it always ends up at the end if you want this help it’ll cost $49 and we will send you this that or the other. I have to tell you that is not true faith I noticed many Christian programs also they preach beautiful things but in the end they’re asking you to buy things I think that’s a disgrace upon Jesus. People like me that don’t have the money so we lose out on knowing everything we wanted to know and pray for that’s not through Jesus Christ I think you should put your head down and think of all the people that need it and can’t afford it amen.”
You know what? She’s absolutely right!
So please, if you can’t afford anything for sale on this site, just email me. I’ll send you a free PDF right away.

Also, you can send me an email with questions if you like. Or leave a question or prayer request on our Ask For Prayer page. I don’t have an answer for everything, but I’ll do my best to help if I can.
Over 99% of what is written for this site is free and online. Also, there are many who can afford to buy books and eBooks. These purchases help cover the costs to keep PrayerForAnxiety alive. I am so very thankful for their support.

Humility is a trait all of us should strive for, but it’s not easy. Too often we think it’s about behavior. The truth is that our actions are the results of being humble. We might be able to act humble, but true humility isn’t an act.
For the follower of Christ, a humble heart welcomes the Spirit of God inside. Like going to the doctor or dentist, this can be scary. Jesus is the Great Physician. He’ll never make a mistake with your heart. Letting Christ in to heal you is the path to true humility.
You can be economically poor and be arrogant. And you can have wealth and be humble. The choice is yours in the end. Are you going to let God in to do his good work?

The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Psalm 51:17
And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?” And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Mark 2:16-17
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
When looking for a real change, it’s better to start from below. Jesus came down to our level, down to the dirt and mud that is human life. Knowing God also means knowing yourself better. If you recognize a need to change, then explore the source of the problem. For example, being aggressive, fearful, or controlling are symptoms of a deeper issue to be resolved. Get down into the dirt and discover yourself.
Jesus Christ was perfectly humble. The Spirit of God was completely free to do his work in Jesus. The humble heart is the heart that allows the Spirit to enter and work. This takes time. Don’t rush the process, and don’t ignore it either.
When he comes, the Spirit doesn’t need you to to hide the mess or straighten things up. He wants to see the dirt and clutter. Let the Holy Spirit clean the house of your soul.
Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17
But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2
I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13

Here’s a screenshot I took this morning of our website’s stats:
It shows in which countries people have read our posts or asked for prayer. The United States has the most readers by far (nearly 1.5 million views all time).
We now have readers in over 99 percent of the countries in the world!
Plus, we get messages like this:
“The prayers are just so powerful. I love this page….God bless you…”
“I love this site you have helped me so often please don’t close it.”
“Couldn’t have come at a better time today, as my husband was threatening suicide because of depression and anxiety regarding our 4 estranged adult children. Thank you.”
“Thank you, your prayer filled my eyes with tears of relief.”
So much of this is made possible by our Patrons. These anonymous people of faith are a big reason for results like these. They have helped change and even save lives. Your prayers have been a big part of this too.
May the grace and love of God be poured out upon you and your families for 2018.
THANK YOU AND MANY BLESSINGS TO OUR SUBSCRIBERS AND PATRONS! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
God’s Spirit is the Spirit of truth. He is the giver of life. He reveals to you things you can’t understand on your own. The Holy Spirit makes you want to know Christ better – then your life produces good fruit.
It’s okay to ask for yourself first – to be full of the Spirit. That way God has more presence in your life. He guides your thoughts, actions and prayer. So later, when you face the world, you are nourished and strong.
Our greatest truth is Christ’s resurrection. This keeps us thankful and humble. Ask everyday to be filled with God’s Spirit and live completely in his truth.
If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:15-18
