Prayer for the lost souls

Is your heart burdened by those that are lost? Then cry out to God to set them free. We must love and care for everyone, but grace is God’s alone. Only he can bring a lost soul to the salvation that we find in Christ Jesus.

Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the[b]covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Broken no more

Sometimes the things that stand in your way are interior problems. You carry a heavy load and wear yourself down. You might not be able to change the world, but Christ can certainly change your heart. He gives you the chance to be free and whole again.

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

Matthew 16:24-26

Prayer for constancy

Staying faithful and firm over the long haul isn’t easy. Troubles appear along the way all the time. Don’t let fear and doubt take away the promises God has in store for you. Seek his Word to gain strength and stamina. Be docile to his Spirit, and he will show you the way.

So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

Isaiah 59:19

But not a hair of your head will perish. Stand firm, and you will win life.

Luke 21:18-19

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Let me see You

God’s love is a mystery. For all Christians, there comes a time to dive deeper into God’s profound love. For those observing Lent, it’s a special moment for this. Meditate upon what Christ has done for you. Let the Holy Spirit strengthen the bond between you and your Savior.

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’”

Matthew 25:40 and 45

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Coming Soon! New Podcast: Let Me Tell My Story

Hi Everybody!

let me tell my storyAs Prayer for Anxiety has grown, one of our most active areas is the Ask For Prayer section. Sometimes people come by and leave a quick note like, “Please pray for my kids…” So of course, we pray for them.

Then there are others who leave a lot more detail. They share with us their troubles and struggles… and their victories. Still, we know they can’t tell their whole story on a website’s prayer request section.

That’s why we are planning to launch a new podcast radio show called “Let Me Tell My Story”. It’s going to be a place where anyone can talk about their personal experience. The idea is to share anything – the pain, hurt, suffering… even the shame that you’ve been through. We’ll hear stories about how your faith has gotten you through it. Or maybe even how your faith is being tested to its limits. No matter what, we’ll seek honesty, truth, sincerity… and healing.

Do you have a story you’d like to tell? Would you like to be a guest on our show?

Then email us at prayerforanxiety@gmail.com

We look forward to hearing from you!
Be on the lookout for our first show…

Thanks and God bless,
Vincent

Prayer for simplicity

Do you want to simplify your life? One way is to see the value of the basic things that make a difference. Our big plans and projects can only take us so far if we don’t build them on something solid – the rock of Christ. When we see God’s grace in the little things, then we truly have a heavenly perspective.

Will you be our next patron?

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer for peace in my soul

If there is one thing we all want deep inside, it’s peace. The world might try, but it can’t give you the peace your soul needs. Our imperfection makes it impossible for peace to come from human effort alone. We have to try, but in all things we must acknowledge God is in control. And there’s the miracle – the Lord shows us the way through forgiveness, love and sacrifice – not control. The source of true peace rests in the wounds of Christ.

Prayer of praise and victory

When God’s people praise him incredible things occur. God’s great victories happen when we praise him. Your environment changes. You change. You rise above the situation. Doors are opened and captives are set free. Reach out and up to God through your praise – in good times and bad.

In a loud voice they were saying:

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”

Prayer to trust more in God

The biggest obstacles in our lives are fear and pride. The greatest solution is trust in God. Ask him to help you trust in him more and more, every day. This doesn’t mean that you lack confidence. It means your confidence comes from an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Memory

In tough times, it helps to remember when you felt the strong presence of God. It might have been your conversion moment. Or maybe you witnessed a great change in someone else. No matter what, there is a time in every life when the Lord makes himself known to you. Go back to those moments and regain strength.

You may say to yourselves, “These nations are stronger than we are. How can we drive them out?” But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt. You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the Lord your God brought you out. The Lord your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear. Moreover, the Lord your God will send the hornet among them until even the survivors who hide from you have perished. Do not be terrified by them, for the Lord your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.
