Prayer to be able to change

When looking for a real change, it’s better to start from below. Jesus came down to our level, down to the dirt and mud that is human life. Knowing God also means knowing yourself better. If you recognize a need to change, then explore the source of the problem. For example, being aggressive, fearful, or controlling are symptoms of a deeper issue to be resolved. Get down into the dirt and discover yourself.

Jesus Christ was perfectly humble. The Spirit of God was completely free to do his work in Jesus. The humble heart is the heart that allows the Spirit to enter and work. This takes time. Don’t rush the process, and don’t ignore it either.

When he comes, the Spirit doesn’t need you to to hide the mess or straighten things up. He wants to see the dirt and clutter. Let the Holy Spirit clean the house of your soul.

  1. Just needing to vent.

Long story short, I accepted a job, discovered I was lied to, and I feel trapped AGAIN.

There’s daily explicit language, profanity, gossip, mood swings, and catering to a boys club, that are allowed to disrespect female employees.

It’s a “small family owned” company with no holds barred.

I am new and can’t say anything, because people will know where the complaints are coming from.

I am looking for another job, and have an interview tomorrow.

It’s just very difficult hearing the filth for 8 hours.

Also, my skills are taken advantage of, and the lead was in a bad mood, and making up things because she’s stressed about doing nothing.

I hate working just to pay a bill.

What’s the purpose in any of this, to fall deeper into despair, and question my sanity?

    • You are a child of God. Let him protect your heart. And pray for those that are lost. Have compassion for them, even though it hurts.
And when God opens the door… move forward stronger. You can do it! The Lord is with you!

I am praying for you everyday.
