Sometimes the last thing on our minds is exactly what we should be doing. As the entire world is worried about the current crisis, we should remain informed and responsible. Still, world events shouldn’t consume our lives. Our focus should always be on God.
There are many episodes in the Bible where God’s people lifted up their voices to praise him. This happened mostly during two situations: danger and celebration.
God’s word shows us clearly that in times of crisis, we should praise him. Why? It shows how much we depend on him and trust him… especially during tough times.
The world is crying out for answers. The Body of Christ–from all Christian denominations–should be crying out to God in praise.
So let’s praise him during the danger, and then again in the celebration… which is Christ our Lord.

After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice,
“Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb!”
And all the angels stood round the throne and round the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying,
“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God for ever and ever! Amen.”
PRAYER OF PRAISE TO GOD DURING TRIALS
O blessed Lord,
The world struggles and people are afraid. Nobody knows what to do. Show us your will, O Lord. Reveal to our hearts the victories you won for us. Show us from where you delivered us before.
Let us regain confidence in your grace and mercy. May your children rise up with a strong voice to proclaim your glory. We praise your holy name.
God is great. God is good. He is worthy of thanks & praise. Jesus our Savior, Christ our King. He will come again in glory.
Let your truths come alive for your Church, O Lord. May we live the Gospel more intensely than ever.
Let us proclaim the Good News! Christ has died. He has risen. Christ comes again!
In Jesus name,
