“Be still, and know that I am God.
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth!”

Psalm 46:10

So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

Isaiah 59:19

You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

Psalm 91:5-7

PRAYER FOR RESTORATION DURING STRUGGLE

O merciful Lord,

Everything has changed so fast. Bad news comes like a river. How can I cope? How can I comprehend?

I cry out to you, my Lord, my God. Today I reach out and up again as I have so many times before. You alone are my refuge. You alone are my hope.

I come to you. You give me rest. Restore this tired child of yours.

Pour out your loving Spirit over me. I need the tenderness of Jesus.

And then… I will rise with Christ.

The Lord makes me nimble & quick. He provides me clarity and strength. And even in the face of calamity, I am sure. I am steady.

I am a child of God.

Nothing can take that away from me. No pestilence or danger will destroy me.

My identity indestructible, for the Lord’s promises are eternal.

God’s word is the final word.

I pray for this in Jesus’ name,

Amen.
