Do you find that life seems to have lost its color? Are you feeling empty inside? Maybe even important events or celebrations don’t make you feel much emotion.
Sometimes, this feeling of emptiness may be an early sign of depression. It’s important to talk about this with someone you trust. Also, seek activities that diversify and strengthen your personal, real world, relationships (family, church, volunteer, sports, hobbies, etc.)
In the end – deep down – we all hunger and thirst for God. Even if you don’t feel something, that doesn’t mean he’s not there.
So go back and remember the miracles and transformations he made in your life.
Go back and give thanks for all the times he protected and guided you.
Return to the cross and look upon Jesus. Understand the forgiveness of God. See how much he loves you.
Live a faith that rejoices in the resurrection. You are called to believe and rise up with Christ. This goes beyond emotions. Instead, it’s your soul full of joy knowing its Savior has come.

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:35
Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. We put no obstacle in any one’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: through great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, tumults, labors, watching, hunger; by purity, knowledge, forbearance, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love, truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; in honor and dishonor, in ill repute and good repute. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as punished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

PRAYER FOR WHEN YOU FEEL EMPTY
O loving Lord,
I know you are there, yet still, I feel empty inside. Why is this happening? Can you see me Lord?
I come to your presence as I seek a renewal. May my emptiness be filled by your loving Spirit. Only you can nourish my soul.
Reveal to my mind and heart the deeper meaning, a more mature faith that I may walk with God no matter how I feel.
For the purest love, the love of Christ, asks for nothing in return.
The purest love only knows how to give.
Guide me, O Lord, into a new, spacious place where in loving and giving, as Jesus loves me, I am fulfilled.
I pray in Jesus name,
Amen.
These are wonderful!
Thank you friend… God’s richest blessings to you!
