The world is full of distractions, and it’s complex. And you have your own struggles to deal with on top of it all. It’s very easy to lose focus and fall into a hurried, out-of-control existence.

If you put your problems at the center of your life, then everything looks dark. If you put the Light of Christ at the center, everything is illuminated by his Spirit.

Remember, it takes time and effort. So seek the presence of the Lord. Spend time in prayer and with his Word. Be in communion with your church. When you take these steps to put Jesus at the center, you gain clarity and direction. This saves you time and restores your peace.

The Kingdom of God is his order and all the potential within it. It all depends upon your relationship with Jesus Christ. Let it be strong. Let it give you life.

PRAYER TO STAY CENTERED

O blessed Lord,

Everything tries to pull me apart to disrupt my peace and break me into pieces.

Will you help me?

I go to you O Lord, I seek you. I run to you. May I return to your presence, the essence of my being for I am a child of God and Christ is my Lord.

In you, only you, I find security and rest. Even if the wind howls and the enemy pounds at my door, I will stand firm. I will not fall. Upon Christ this house is built.

In the name of Jesus, cast out the evil one, O Lord. Give me the courage to return to the center that is Christ, my Savior.

And may your mighty Spirit take this broken spirit to rise up, resurrected, with a stronger heart, a greater love.
