Prayer to stay firm in responsibility

Whether it’s caring for your family, loved ones, or someone in need–many have been called to a greater responsibility. But it’s not easy is it? Where do you find your nourishment and strength?

To be able to give a lot, you must receive more. Only one source has no limit of goodness and grace for you. Return to the Lord. Rest in him.  Be made strong and ready to keep going… no matter what it takes.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:87-58

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

Luke 10:21

For I through the law died to the law, that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:19-20

PRAYER TO STAY FIRM IN RESPONSIBILITY

O merciful Lord,

The burden on me is heavy. More than ever I feel pressure. How can I handle it all, O Lord? What is your teaching here?

Give me air and give me life. Holy Spirit come to me. Let me enter again into the wide openness your grace. Where all is quiet and still. Just you and me, O Lord.

You whisper to my heart the secrets of your kingdom. Your innocent Son reveals God to me.

Nothing in this world can satisfy or save me. Only Christ can set me free.

Help me to lift my cross again. Boldly. Courageously. Humbly.

You have blessed me to see the glory of God. By the blood of Christ your victory is sealed into me.

I move forward again. I live in Christ. And Christ lives in me.

In Jesus name,

Amen.
