Is it time for you to reflect on your earthly limitations and the gift of Jesus in your life? Maybe you can devote time to seeking reconciliation and ways to improve your life according to God’s word.

You might try to give up bad habits, attitudes or even addictions. If you feel called to this, face it with courage and humility. Ask for God’s help every day.

Or you might choose to add something to your life, such as offering words of kindness and encouragement to others. You may even begin to dedicate time to serving those in need.

Whatever your choice, set your mind and heart to open up more to God. Let him in, and let his Spirit work in you.

PRAYER TO OPEN UP MORE TO GOD

O merciful Lord,

Today I stop for a moment, away from the noise & worry, just to be with you.

I want to open up and let down my guard, to let you see me as I am.

My wounds, my shame, my fragile soul, I want to give it all up to you.

Let me not be afraid, O Lord. Help me to trust you, for the truly humble find rest in your mercy.

May I begin to understand and accept my failures, and no matter what, I know you love me as I am.

Help me to hold nothing back. I give up myself up to you. Cleanse me, heal me. In your grace, I am set free.

Set me free in Christ. Set me free to love more.
