Unhappiness is all too common these days. There are a lot of people suffering from depression all around the world. If a sense of sadness or lack of motivation persists in your life, it’s important that you seek help. You do not have to live with constant unhappiness.
One of the things that helps avoid sadness is to get moving. Exercise, activity, and engaging with the world helps a lot — especially when your activity lets you connect with people (I talk more about this in the audio below the prayer).
Still, your faith in God is the most powerful remedy against sadness. Remember his great love for you. Remember all Jesus did and does for you. You are loved so much by our Creator. Go to his presence and be filled with his love which drives out all sadness.

PRAYER FOR WHEN YOU’RE NOT HAPPY
O loving Lord,
I’m not feeling well. I’m unhappy. Why do I feel this way? Can you help me? Will you?
Remind me again, O Lord, of the great love of Christ. How he gave everything for me, taking all my shame upon him.
He gave up his innocence for me. Jesus bled for me. He died for me. The love of God has no limit.
May the merciful love of Christ touch my soul once again. May your Spirit enter my sad heart. Restore me. Stay.
And may my heart respond to your love, O blessed Lord, by loving someone else. As loving another is the best way to love you.
I can’t do it alone, O Lord.
I need you desperately. I depend upon you. I trust you.
Awaken in me your love. Bring me your everlasting joy.

Prayer For Anxiety 
Dear fellow believers. Please can you pray for me. I’m struggling with my mental health – I cannot focus and I find it impossible to follow conversations as my mind is so scattered. It’s having a negative impact at work. My self esteem is at zero, my social anxiety is intense, and I’m really depressed. I just feel so exhausted. It is horrible. Im not a good husband and father right now because I feel too unwell. I know God and Jesus are with me, but I need a sign to show me the path. Thank you for your prayers

Send this person your mercy and your Spirit, O Lord… provide clarity and calm… restore this person to his former self…. lift him up to you, O Lord… restore his strength, focus and joy… pour out your Spirit to renew this man as a son of God… in Jesus name, Amen.
