Are you feeling down and out? Does it seem like the entire world is against you? Or maybe you’re spinning around in circles (or making the same mistakes) and just can’t move forward. Well guess what? The game is not over. There’s still lots of road ahead of you.
One of the keys to moving ahead is to remember what you already have. Count your blessings and the gifts God has given you. Go back to the times when he came through for you. Remember when you found strength and courage you didn’t realize you had.
Even if your life is tough, the Lord has brought you forward to this place, here, now. You are alive. You matter. You are loved.
In Jesus Christ, you have everything no matter how complicated things get. Do not underestimate the power of your faith to change things.
So gear up and get ready. Go to God and be filled with his Spirit. Go forth and live your life to the fullest… in his grace and according to his wondrous will. Be encouraged by the Lord!

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6
We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
2 Corinthians 6:3-10
Prayer for encouragement
O merciful Lord,
You have shown me time and time again. In my day-to-day struggles, despite my insecurities, You are with me always.
How many times have I fallen and you lifted me up?
How many times did I get through tough times with your hand protecting me?
So often I might have fallen, but your love kept me safe. And so now, I return to the storehouse of my faith.
I recount and recall your victories in my life.
And I remember:
I am a sinner saved. The Spirit of God lives in me. He makes me nimble & strong.
I will move forward. I will take good courage. I lift my head up high. as God goes with me, and Christ is my King.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.
