Covering too many bases these days? Lots of fires to put out? Or maybe you have complex, long-term responsibilities piling up.
One of the reasons you might feel overwhelmed (besides having tons to do) could be due to scattered thoughts. You mind bounces around trying to solve too many things at once, and it’s exhausting.
God is not only the creator of life, he’s also the organizer of your life. Ask him to bring his order to your thoughts. This allows you to stay focused and save energy.
Cry out to the Lord. Show him how hard it is for you. Let him reveal to you a more heavenly way to see things. Be lifted up by the Spirit of God. He will give you calm and strength to continue.
Do it all for our Lord Jesus Christ. Do it all for love.

PRAYER FOR WHEN YOU ARE OVERWHELMED
O merciful Lord,
So many tasks & worries, everything pulls at me, pushing me past my limits. I feel an explosion inside. How much more can I take?
Call me back to you, O Lord. Bring me out the wilderness, away from the chaos. Even during a storm Jesus slept, as he knew his Father loved him.
So even now, as I feel completely overwhelmed, may your Word guide me. May your Spirit give me clarity and strength.
In Jesus name, cast out the enemy far from me.
You see me as I am, O Lord. I wait and rest in you. This moment too shall pass, but your love is eternal, your Kingdom everlasting.
May I rest with Jesus in the loving arms of our Father, in thy Kingdom come.
