Sometimes, we need to take a break. This doesn’t mean we abandon our responsibilities. Instead, it’s a way to maintain a fresh perspective about life, even during troubled times.
Dedicate some quality time to our heavenly Father. It’s truly amazing how he can restore you and lift your mood. His Spirit puts everything in perspective. The Lord lets us escape from the mental prison of fear that traps us sometimes.
You will understand if you do it. Find the right time and place. Go back to him. Sit and listen to the Spirit of God. Let him re-energize you. Then arise again with Christ to face the world with courage and confidence.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER FOR WHEN YOU NEED A BREAK
O blessed Lord,
I just need a break now, a rest from all the noise. So here I am, O Lord. I seek your presence.
I don’t plan to be irresponsible. I won’t crumble. I’m in it for the long haul as I am your child. Confident. Secure with you.
But now, just for a moment, I need to forget the trouble. Let me float for a while in the quiet stream of your grace.
Take me back to that place where you showed me what it means to know God loves me. Deep joy. Sweet mercy.
Show me how to live there now knowing my soul is safe, knowing God is real, and knowing Jesus sets me free.
Let the rest of the world fret & worry. but as for me, I will trust in the Lord.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
