Is your head full of noise? You have too many worries, or maybe you just find it hard to focus. Perhaps you’re trying to figure something out. Be careful though not to try to figure out everything at once.

When you learn to live with uncertainty, you learn to trust God. Nobody can know it all or have it all under control. Don’t let the enemy trick you into an endless cycle of worry and thought. Let the Lord take you by the hand and set you free.

It all begins with trust in the Lord. So stay faithful to your prayer time. Read your Bible. Go to church. Take care of the simple, essential things in your life. And for all the things beyond your control, know that God has you in his hand. In Christ, your soul is safe and your spirit flies free.

PRAYER TO QUIET THE MIND

O merciful Lord, noise and worry take away my peace. I get tied up, and my mind runs in circles.

Will you help me?

Reach out your hand, O Lord. Cast out the liar that tells me there is no hope. Let me not look to the world but instead to your wounds to find rest for my soul.

If I must change a habit, attitude or lack of trust, then show me, cleanse me.

The blood of Christ sets me free.

I wish to feel the gentle breeze of your loving grace. You alone give me the quiet

and security I need. For the promise of Jesus is salvation for all who believe in his name.

I believe in you, O Lord. I am your child, and you are my God.
