Sometimes we might think being bold means calling attention to ourselves. But being bold in the Lord means having courage thanks to your faith. An impenetrable faith – in a God that loves you – makes you bold.
What does this do for you?
Boldness helps you with everyday challenges, especially when you get tired. It helps you when you face intense struggles that come from your own failures or from outside attacks. Being bold helps you when you have to stand up for yourself or for others.
Perhaps the most important place where we should be bold is when we share the Gospel message. This doesn’t mean you are pushy or loud, but you speak with confidence. Your words reveal the joy in being a child of God – and that your identity is indestructible. Your words are saturated with the love of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER TO BE BOLD IN CHRIST
Oh heavenly Lord,
You are my hope and truth. So I come to you now as I need strength. The enemy lies and tries to bring me down saying, “All is lost. It’s not worth it. This is too much for you.”
Shut his mouth, oh Lord. Silence his lies.
Rise up, oh Lord, rise up! Strike down the enemy. Cast him out and restore me.
May your Spirit once again lift up this sinner and put me on my feet.
Firm. Steady. Solid. Standing on the foundation that is my Messiah, the Christ.
May I be responsible, energetic and quick. Let the courage of Christ fill me and prepare me.
By your grace alone I proclaim, “I am your child. I am not afraid!”
Strong. Complete. Bold in the Lord.
In the name of Christ Jesus,
Amen.
