It’s hard, but instead of looking at a pressure filled moment as something all bad, see it as an opportunity. It’s a chance to grow in your relationship with Christ and as a person. Tough moments are when the Spirit of God shines brilliantly.
You might be at your wits end, but don’t give in. Instead, dig in and go to God. In his presence, you will find the strength and insight to get through hard times.

PRAYER FOR WHEN YOU ARE UNDER PRESSURE
Oh heavenly Lord,
The trials of my life gather like storm clouds. I know, oh Lord, what’s ahead.
I could wish it would go away, but I can’t and it won’t. Instead, oh Lord, I seek you.
Through your Word and presence may your Spirit transform me.
I want to do it my way and fix things fast. Instead let me wait upon you. Let this process break down the barriers I hide behind when all I need is your loving grace.
Mine is a proud heart, a fearful heart, while your heart pours out only love.
Let your love form my character and give me courage to stand firm.
In all things, may your will be done. As it was the Father’s will to give up his Son for this sinner reborn.
In all things, I trust in you, as Christ is my hope and salvation.

I am on overload, working a 50 hour week and raids ng two granddaughters due to their fathers death from cancer. They are 7 & 11 and have been with me almost 4 years. I have a home daycare caring for 4 children. The 7 yr old, Naomi, had been diagnosed fir FAS and is hyperactive. I have never been one to rush into medication but I am so worn out and exhausted I am not sleeping and cry all the time. I took her into her pediatrician 4 weeks ago and the PA told me they had no medicine for her that I needed to read self help books on mindfulness yoga and get her into counseling. Feel as tho God is so far away and I am hearing nothing from him. My house is generating into a cluttered mess due to my stress.

I’m so sorry to hear about your trials. How hard it must be to do all that you do. Are you in contact with a local parish or church? A community is a good place to get support. Have you ever read the Psalms? They are a great source of help to me in times of trouble.
Cry out to God! Let him show you how to get through this time. Seek his presence every day. Let him transform you and return your joy! I know it’s not easy, I know you suffer. The suffering of Christ is our example. Your service to your granddaughters reveals a deeper love and meaning that no one else can understand but Jesus. Find freedom in his wounds.
