Prayer to do the right thing

In everyday life, we are faced with decisions. Some are extremely tough or complicated. Are you thinking about it too much with your head? Are you trying too hard to control things or satisfy your own desires? The best security is to be in God’s will. It all begins with a personal relationship with Jesus. Everything else builds out from there.

Go to Jesus. Get to know him better. Then you will do the right thing.

The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad;
let the distant shores rejoice.
Clouds and thick darkness surround him;
righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.
Fire goes before him
and consumes his foes on every side.

Psalm 97:1-3

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

John 15:5

For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

Prayer for a loved one who needs mercy

Even though God’s Word is final, we can always go to him with confidence. Our Lord Jesus gave us this right by shedding his blood for us. So if you know someone who needs mercy, go before the throne of God and ask. And keep asking. Never give up hope and remain faithful to the task – as God is faithful to his children.

25th of December

During the holiday season everyone feels pressure. That’s why it’s even more important to reflect on the bedrock of our faith. Yes, we should celebrate. But if we don’t know the true reason for celebration, then the festivities are superficial. Seek God’s word and his presence. Deepen your relationship with Jesus. Let the bells of joy ring true in your heart and your life.

Have you been blessed by this site? Please bless us back.

And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

Prayer to offer up suffering

It’s not wrong to pray for change, especially when you suffer. In some cases though, there might be no way out.  Let God transform your pain into something glorious. The world tells you to avoid suffering at all costs – even if it costs you your soul. Jesus tells you , “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest,” (Matthew 11:28).

Imitate Christ and give the full glory to God.

Heavenly

It’s not always easy to remain hopeful. Life can be hard. For some people, things can be downright terrible. Still, if you see things with heavenly eyes, everything changes. A disciple of Jesus is not a victim. Instead, you are one who brings light to the world. You are one who carries the Spirit of the Living God inside you.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
