Doesn’t it sometimes seem like God takes so long to give us a chance to do things? It might be a job or a moment to share the Good News. Or maybe you want an opportunity to heal a relationship.
Don’t forget, God is always at work. Be patient and let his Spirit prepare you for when the opportunity arrives. The process of asking and waiting gets you ready. So instead of being hurried or proud, your heart is humble and ready to serve.
It shall not be so among you; but whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave; even as the Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
