The worries of this world make you feel hurried. Even too many good things can take away your peace. Duties and problems appear, and it seems like you just can’t keep up.
Ask God to guide you. Let him show you where you can say “no” and set limits. You can’t be everywhere for everything. Remember, God is in control. Trust in this. Let him do the heavy lifting.
This doesn’t mean you ignore your responsibilities. Instead, the Spirit blows away the clutter and keeps you focused. You see where you should be and what you should do. The rest is in God’s hands… as are you.
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
John 10:28-30
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.
John 14:6
