When facing a tough decision your mind goes around in circles. You try to understand and figure it all out yourself, but it’s impossible. It seems like you don’t have the time to pray about it.
If you pray, it will save you time later. There’s nothing that wastes time and energy more than confusion. Prayer helps put your thoughts in order.
When you don’t know what to do, go to God in prayer.
It may take time to get an answer, but God always delivers. You might even want to set up a prayer campaign during the process. Use a notebook and dedicate one page to each day of prayer. It can be for as many days as you need it. Write clearly at the top of the page what you are praying about.
After each prayer session, jot down what you feel God might be trying to tell you. Repeat this process each day until you begin to have more clarity about your situation.
God’s presence gives you peace. Take the time. Pray. Read from the Bible. You’ll notice the confusion begins to disappear. Try not to have a preference about outcomes, and let the Spirit guide you.
Even Jesus took the time to consult with his Father about tough decisions. Imitate our Lord and the results will be glorious.
In these days he went out to the mountain to pray; and all night he continued in prayer to God.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
PRAYER FOR WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO
Dear heavenly Lord,
I face situations and decisions. It’s complicated and dense. I feel confused and lost. Can you help me? Can you show me the light?
First of all, oh Lord, calm my heart. Let me know that my peace depends upon you alone. No matter how things turn out, with you at the center of my life, I will stand. I will survive.
May your Spirit keep me balanced. Lord, show me your will. Let my mind and heart be open to what best serves truth and life. Give me courage to do what is right. Show me your word. Reveal it to my heart, oh Lord, and make my conviction strong. For when I go to you, and you show me your will, the blessing is guaranteed.
It may not be easy, it may take time, but upon Christ I stand firm.
In Jesus name, Amen.

Feeling lonely doesn’t ever mean we are alone. God is with us 24/7, along with our Guardian Angels, The Holy Spirit, With God on our side nothing can touch us so do not be afraid. Remember love is only real if its unconditional. This is why many relationships fail, being Christian means we can truly love ALL creation, and of course its in the giving that we truly receive. So live it. If you/we feel ourselves falling then tell God and ask him to lift you up. Dear Lord I’m falling, please help me, lift me up Dear Lord. It does work. Along with the help of all the angels, the saints and martyrs and our dead who also pray for us. Having faith is exactly that HAVE FAITH cos he is everywhere as our “footprints” can testify. Look at Dear Sister Moon, Dear Brother Sun and all Gods wonderful creation in Mother Nature and you will see, feel, breathe and smell life that matters. Walk away from zombie tech and any snares of the devil who is always truing to bring us down and control us. God sets his children free so RUN, RUN, RUN and don’t dwell on negativity. Walk away and throughout life keep moving forward. This is our destiny. Dear Lord lift us all up to be who we can be by your grace. Amen – Some great Saints remembered here by their words and actions in serving……
Write something nice with a big smile and leave it at a bus stop, or hand it to a stranger, on the train, or just smile anyway. A big smile will always lift us too…try it seriously – Give me a massive smile now and say Thank You Lord……..it really works 🙂 aah the gift of faith.
Peace n Love to all.
“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.”
–Blessed Mother Teresa
Whenever anything disagreeable or displeasing happens to you, remember Christ crucified and be silent.
–St. John of the Cross
The tongue is a small member, but it does big things. A religious who does not keep silence will never attain holiness; that is, she will never become a saint. Let her not delude herself – unless it is the Spirit of God who is speaking through her, for then she must not keep silent. But, in order to hear the voice of God, one has to have silence in one’s soul and to keep silence; not a gloomy silence but an interior silence; that is to say, recollection in God. (118) –St. Faustina
What we need most in order to make progress is to be silent before this great God with our appetite and with our tongue, for the language he best hears is silent love.
–St John of the Cross, OCD
No man is safe in speaking unless he loves to be silent. No man rules safely unless he is willing to be ruled.
–Imitation of Christ
In silence and quiet the devout soul advances in virtue and learns the hidden truths of Scripture.
–Imitation of Christ
Wisdom enters through love, silence, and mortification. It is great wisdom to know how to be silent and to look at neither the remarks, nor the deeds, nor the lives of others.
–St John of the Cross, OCD
“In some causes silence is dangerous.”
A judicious silence is always better than truth spoken without charity.
–St. Francis De Sales
It is better to remain silent than to speak the truth ill-humoredly, and spoil an excellent dish by covering it with bad sauce.
–St. Francis De Sales
To be silent when we are impelled to utter words injurious to God or to our neighbour, is an act of virtue; but, to be silent in confessing our sins, is the ruin of the soul.
–St. Alphonsus De Liguori
A talkative soul lacks both the essential virtues and intimacy with God. A deeper interior life, one of gentle peace and of that silence where the Lord dwells, is quite out of the question. A soul that has never tasted
the sweetness of inner silence is a restless spirit which disturbs the silence of others.
–St. Faustina, Divine Mercy in My Soul
It is best to learn to silence the faculties and to cause them to be still, so that God may speak.
–St John of the Cross
Jesus please help me I am do lonely and dont know what to do and I have nobody to turn to.
I’m so sorry to hear about your struggles. It’s not uncommon to feel lonely. Loneliness can be difficult and uncomfortable, but you can overcome it. Here are some things to try:
– Connect: Make an effort to reach out to friends and family spend time with them. You could also join social or hobby groups to meet new people who share your interests.
– Give: Helping others can be a great way to feel more connected and fulfilled. Consider volunteering your time to a cause you care about.
– Get Active: Engaging in activities that you enjoy can help take your mind off of your loneliness and give you a sense of purpose. Try a new hobby, cooking, art, or exercise.
– Get help: If you find that you are struggling to manage your loneliness on your own, consider seeking help from a mental health professional. They can work with you to identify the causes of your loneliness and help you to manage it.
Remember, it’s normal to feel lonely from time to time. Take care of yourself and seek support when you need it. And most important, get closer to God. Seek him. Trust him. He will help you!
– Daily prayer and Bible reading
– Communion with a local parish or church
– Listen to worship music – and sing!
I will be praying for you Lisa! You are never, ever alone. The Lord is with you!
God’s grace, mercy and blessings to you,
