Sometimes facing this world requires near supernatural strength. Where do you get it? You can either roll over and give up, or get stronger. Sometimes giving up is not even an option, since you’re stuck. The answer is simple, but not easy. But with faith, anything is possible.

But never lose your faith. Even just a little bit of faith can grow big and strong. Begin to believe again in God’s Kingdom and promises.

Are the trials of life wearing you down? Sometimes it seems so hard to keep going. One of the reasons might be that you don’t feel anything special right now. You might not be feeling any particular joy or fulfillment. You might even be feeling a bit empty spiritually.
Even when it’s hard, dig in and make the effort to pray. You may not feel anything special at the time, but it’s worth it. Your consistency and perseverance will pay off in the long run.
Even if you don’t feel God’s presence you can know he is there. Sometimes believing is a decision. Choose to believe. Choose Jesus. Then watch your strength and determination grow.

Dear holy Father,
When the pressure mounts and the troubles of this world begin to close in, give me the grace to return to you. I don’t want to be a hero. I don’t want the easy way out.
All I want, all I need, is your loving mercy. Never leave me Lord. Keep me under your wing. Even if I don’t feel you there, at least let me understand that you are there.
Give me the strength to take up my cross and fight the good fight. Let your grace allow me to believe in the only one that gives me truth and clarity despite the pain and struggle.
And if it be your will, fill my heart and soul with the overwhelming joy that only your Spirit gives. For in the Messiah, I find my resurrection. In Christ almighty, all things are made new again.

It’s impossible not to be affected by all the hurt and pain we experience. We must develop the maturity and skills to process it all. Still, the effect on our soul can only find true healing in God. His Spirit alone purifies us. Go to Christ and be clean again.

Are you facing many challenges at once? Do you sometimes feel like giving up? Remember, God is always in control. Seek his presence and receive strength and clarity to move forward.
Even though it may not be pleasant, every difficulty is a chance for you to build your character. This doesn’t mean things turn out the way you want all the time. It doesn’t mean you get your way in every disagreement either. Instead, your trials are a chance for you to grow in your trust of God.
And trust in God is your best source of strength.
Resting is his presence – no matter what happens – gives you true peace. You think and act with more confidence, and you become a blessing to others.
Let the Lord fight for you and rejoice in his victory.
All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.
1 Samuel 47
Dear almighty Lord,
It’s just too much sometimes. Worry and fear crowd my life and my mind. So many struggles at once. What can I do God?
Can you help me?
The battle is in my mind; the enemy comes and whispers in my ear a lie that all is lost.
Give me the strength, oh Lord, to reject the enemy. Let me look to Christ instead upon the cross for me, glorified at your right hand, sending me the power of his Holy Spirit.
Let me stand up for myself and say, “I can do this. I can face the giant down; I can defeat him, as the mighty hand of God goes before me.”
May it glorify you, oh Lord, and may the angels in heaven sing praises at the sight of this sinner restored.

What do you do when things are looking bad? Where do you go? It’s not easy, but you have to go against the grain. The enemy wants to wash you down the river. Instead, stand firm and seek God even more intensely. Then watch him open up the heavens and pour his grace out over you.
