Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Prayer for motivation

O blessed Lord,

I sometimes feel tired and weary. The trials of this world wear me down.

Part of me just wants to run away or sleep forever.

So here and now, I seek you. I seek your restoration.

Let me not be distracted by the lies of the enemy, telling me to give up trying.

Let me not fall into false inspiration to get things done.

Remove all obstacles in my mind so I can move forward trusting you.

Give me clarity and focus, O Lord. Reveal to me the task at hand.

Make my mind nimble, quick and steady, to finish all that has been set before me.

For your Word is the final word.

Your Spirit lives and burns within me.

Your promises can never be forsaken.

And I am a beloved child of God.

And from that solid, sacred place I gain all power and energy.

In Christ Jesus, I have all I need.
