  1. Hi there,

I have been in a very dark place for some years now (anxiety, severe depression, self hatred, and loss of loved ones)

I’m so tired of fighting. It’s a constant battle in my head.

    Please help me

    • Dear Natasha – If you haven’t already, begin to seek God. Get to know Jesus through prayer and the Bible. Find a church that welcomes you and has Christ at its center. It’s never too late. God can and will help you. Search for him with all your being.
Dear Lord, Reach out and free Natasha. Free her from negativity and darkness. Heal her wounds. Wash her clean with your mercy and love. Restore her. Make her strong. Pour out the peace and Spirit of Christ over Natasha in abundance. Give you child rest dear Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.

    • Hi Natasha,

I feel your pain and in addition to seeking God maybe you should seek out a therapist as well. It’s ok to ask for help and you’ll be surprised how good it can feel just to talk to someone and unload your feelings. Best wishes on your journey.

  2. I have been caregiver to several loved ones for 7 years. My mother, my best friend & now it’s my husband. (before them it was my mother-in-law but that was some years earlier, when I was younger, had more energy & more money to hire help)

My husband had a stroke earlier this year that affected his judgement & mental status. He now has stage 4 lung cancer, heart failure & is finding comfort only in smoking, the worst thing he could do for his health. He has a chance for being accepted into a new treatment for the cancer & I fear we will run out of time if he continues. But it comforts him, it is familiar to him & he will not stop.He says he will but he doesn’t. If I do not help him buy his cigarettes & supervise his smoking in a safe place in the house, he has others bring them to him. Since he is on oxygen, he is not safe unless I supervise his smoking, making sure he is not anywhere near the oxygen. His level of anger when he is not given a cigarette is scary. I feel like an enabler, a participant in his selfdestruction, although I don’t feel he truly intends it to be that. But if I do not participate by watching him smoke or bringing him his cigarettes when he wants one, he may put both of us in danger because of the oxygen in the house. I feel I may become unworthy of forgiveness for this. I feel hopeless. I feel angry all the time too. I also feel incredibly hurt that he would choose cigarettes over a chance to continue our life together but wonder if he really knows how serious this is.

I am getting tired. I am without the slightest clue of what it feels like to be around people who are healthy & happy & I cannot recall the last time I felt joy. Maybe my purpose in life is to be with those who are dying but I am starting to feel like I am fading away too.

Please pray for my husband, who was not raised in any religion & who does not know Jesus. Please pray for my husband to be enveloped in the power Holy Spirit & somehow find his way to Our Lord while there is still time. Please pray for me to be able to pray with sincerity & not just by routine. I feel nothing sometimes when I pray, like it has all become just an exercise. I know in my logical mind that God listens, I just cannot find my way back to Him & I cannot hear Him. Please pray for me to lose my anger & do a better job at caring for him & myself. Thank you.

    • Dear Dorothy, You are the hands and heart of Christ in the lives of the people you care for. Like Jesus, you suffer because you care and you love. Like Jesus, you give your life for the benefit of others. Few people experience this at the same level. Nobody wants to. But you are a living example of the Holy Spirit on this earth. Find strength and peace in that you imitate Christ. Place all your pain and suffering in his wounded side.
Dear Lord, lift up Dorothy’s heart and soul. Restore here. Bring joy to her life. Bless her home, help her husband have peace. Let Dorothy feel the love you brought to the world. Let her know it’s not about feelings, but about the deepest purpose of love. Comfort Dorothy in her struggle Lord. Pour out your mercy in abundance. In Jesus name, Amen.

  3. I am desiring prayer for strength on my job…I am not picking up on things as fast as they would like for me to and it is wearing me down emotionally and physically. I just want to be able to provide my children with their needs. Asking God to strengthen me in my weak areas, and increase my faith.

    • Dear Jada – Gather strength from the Spirit of God. He will help you. Wait on him to deliver.
Dear Lord, Lift Jada up. Give her clarity and make her strong. Let her be able to provide for her family with dignified work. Pour out your protection and mercy over her household and children. Let your will be done in her life. Let the love of Christ make her new again. In Jesus name, Amen.

    • May the Lord free you from your fear. May his loving hands heal your wounds. May the mercy of God be poured out over you in abundance. May you find rest and confidence in the arms of Christ. In Jesus name, Amen.

  6. I pray for my mom to accept help from the nurses in the nursing home.
She has dementia and is combative towards them. Usually she is
a peaceful caring person towards others. It has gotten to a point
that she has one week to get settled or she will have to go elsewhere.
The nurses have her best interests and very caring but can’t allow
her to continue her behaviors. Prayers for her is needed.

    • Praying for you and your mother. May the Lord place peace and rest in your mom’s heart. May he give you strength, patience and clarity. May the loving mercy and Spirit of God be poured out over you and your family. In Jesus name, Amen.
