    • Lord I pray that You would bring healing to Pam’s heart. Lift the depression from her heart and fill her with Your peace. Help her to see herself as You do Jesus, a woman who is greatly loved by the King of Kings. Give her strength Lord to
persevere. Help her to not feel alone, Your Word promises that You will never leave or forsake us, thank you Lord that even when we don’t feel worthy, You are with us. I pray for John that You would bring blessing and peace to his life. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

  2. I’ve been struggling enormously with doubt in the truth of Christianity over the last year or so. I still pray but I’m not convinced Jesus is there. I was also recently diagnosed with BPD and my poor mental health has driven me further and further from God. I would love to have my old relationship with him back again. I really need a breakthrough.

    • Dear Emma,
I’m so glad you stopped by. I’m sorry you’re struggling with doubts about your faith. It’s been such a crazy year with COVID and getting the BPD diagnosis on top of that is hard. I think many people are feeling confused and lost today.
I hope it will encourage you to know you are in good company! Many people struggle with their faith at different times in their lives. Some of the most respected and committed men and women of God have struggled with doubts, just like everyone else. Even hero’s of the Bible, such as John the Baptist. He had been called by Jesus “the greatest prophet” (Matthew 11:11). God had chosen John to be forerunner of the Messiah (Luke 1:11-17). He had been faithful to God’s calling (Mark 1:4-8)
Yet even John, when he was in prison and sentenced to die had struggled with doubts about Jesus’ identity (Luke 7:20). John sent messengers to ask Jesus if He was truly the One sent from God!
Jesus didn’t reprimand John, instead He sent him a message and quoted Isaiah 61, reminding John that He had fulfilled the Messianic prophecy. We learn from this hero of faith, that God is patient with us, when we desire to believe (Psalm 86:15)
And it sounds to me Emma, you do desire to believe.❤️ Ask God to help you with your unbelief, as the man did in Mark 9:24.
When we go through times of stress, exhaustion, it can be easy for us to forget all that God has done for us, or feel He is not there for us anymore. Like He has somehow moved, but the truth is: we are the one’s that move away from Him. ❤️ The Bible tells us “ draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” James 4:8,
“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart”. Jeremiah 29:13. God wants us to have an intimate relationship with Him, He wants us to know Him. Prayer is very important, but also spending time in His Word. Reading the Bible gives us strength, we learn about God’s character, and it increases our faith “ Faith comes by hearing the Word of God” Romans 10:17. Being physical humans it can be easy for us to put our trust in what we can see, it’s not always so easy for us to trust what is invisible to us, then doubt creeps in. If you are doubting the accuracy of the Bible, it has been proved to be true over and over for thousands of years. We have all the evidence we need, but God leaves the believing up to us. I have struggled with feelings of loneliness and the feeling God has forgotten me. Reading the Bible daily, along with prayer and praising Him has made a real difference in my life.
If you are going to church, they are there to help you. Confide in a Christian brother or sister who you trust.
Reading books or listening to Christian podcasts can booster our faith too. Lee Strobel is a wonderful author. He was once an atheist and an investigative journalist. Here are a couple of his books:

      THE CASE FOR FAITH
      The Case for Christ
The Case for Christianity Answer Book

I will pray for you Emma, that the Lord would give you a breakthrough. Please don’t give up on Him. He loves you with an everlasting love. God bless you.❤️Jan

    • Emma,
Here is a link to one more faith building tool, that I meant to add last night. “The Chosen” is a series about the last three years of Jesus’ life. It is beautifully done, and brings touching realism to the Bible. . It has touched thousands of lives. I highly recommend it and encourage you to give it a try. It is free to watch,
      ❤️Jan

    • Dear Emma,
Your mental health issues certainly don’t make life easy for you. Just showing up here asking for help though is a great sign. It helps me a lot to read from God’s word when I’m feeling shaky in my faith. Remember, he can restore you and bring to to even deeper levels of faith and greater joy. Sometimes we have to go through a dry spell before this happens.

Don’t give up Emma. Hang in there. You are worth it! Your relationship with Jesus is worth it!

I am praying for you. God’s grace and blessings,
      Vincent

    • Emma, don’t give up. The world loves to drown and overwhelm us and tries to make us give up and give in. To destroy and steal out joy and hope. Only god can fulfill fully and bring the peace contentment and joy. I know from experience even when he feels distant and nothing is happening he is at work, and a word from a friend, a verse read or a song listened to suddenly reminds me and changes my perspective. Keep close to god in prayer even if it is a why or what’s going on prayer, listen t his word and he will draw close to you too.

I am praying for your healing and restoring of your faith and strengthening of your relationship with God

  3. Need emergency prayers for my son. He keeps making terrible mistakes in his life. He goes to rehabs and gets out and starts drinking again. Please also pray for me, help me to understand why this keeps happening in his life and for my peace in all of this, I am seriously falling apart. Thank you

      • Thank you Vincent, now he keeps texting me telling me that he wants to go home (meaning to be with God), I have sent a Pastor to the hotel that he is staying at, please pray that he answers the door and talks with him.

    • Jean, I’m praying for you both. I am so sorry, I know how painful this is for a parent.
May you feel God’s loving arms wrapped around you, giving you strength, comfort and peace.
      ❤️Jan

    • Praying for you Jean, you have been through so much and so much disappoint, but your faith remains. Keep coming back to God. What is out of our control is in his control. Keep strong and endure, God is always with you

  4. Please pray the Lord shows me how to accept and get on with non Christians as I do not always see his work in them. But as God’s children this is possible. Not to inflict my religion on them but respect and understand mutually there is one God for all faiths at work between us.

    • Lord fill Mradulla’s heart with Your love, overflowing to others that do not know You. Guide him and teach him Lord, where you would have him go and by the power of Your Spirit what to speak.
Your Word tells us “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus”
      1 Timothy 2:5.
You have called us to be a light to those who live in darkness. I pray that Mradulla will have boldness to share the good news of the gospel with those who don’t know You and that the face of Christ will be seen in all he does and says. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

    • God is always at work and we may never see or know what seeds are being planted. Keep close to God and he will guide you on what to say and when. The Holy Spirit will use and move you. I pray for wisdom and guidance in all your interactions, and faith that God is using you for his purpose.

  5. Please pray for my mom. She was using a power saw to trim some trees and almost cut her finger off. I’m worried and I am no where close. She’s been to the dr and they stitched it but now it’s swelling and I am worried. Very worried. She was using it because my dad is weak and she didn’t want him to hurt himself and they need to trim the trees and can’t really get anyone round to do it due to covid. They are in a red zone country.

    • Praying for your dear mom, for complete healing for your dear mom’s finger and for God to fill you both with His peace. I know it is hard not to worry about our parents as they get older. Asking God to strengthen and protect them both.❤️
      God bless you all.
      Jan

    • Praying for your mom and that God heals her finger. It is really hard when your parents aren’t close by, especially during health issues. Stay strong.

    • lord I pray for healing over the mother, that her hand will be restored and pain and discomfort be gone. Lift all fear and self doubt from her mind and bring peace in herself. I pray over the family to give the support and love as well as be at peace that even though they can’t be there in person you are right there Lord in all situations. In your holy name Lord amen
