Prayer For Anxiety 
I need prayers for my son Vincent who is struggling with his grief. He lost his dad at the age of 11, he is now 15. Being a single parent trying to guide him in the right path I failed 😞 him. He is turning into the gang life style. I have told him that’s not a way to go. I know he hurts from not having his dad and I guess I didn’t do my job right as playing both roles of mom and dad. I just ask for prayers that he opens his eyes and sees that gangs are no good.
Dear Ceclia… I’m so sorry to hear about your troubles. You must be so worried. Remember, you did your best to raise your son all on your own which isn’t easy. If he makes bad choices, it’s not all your fault. You are right though, he is hurting and needs healing. Remember, your son is still a minor. You can set healthy limits on him. It might be hard, but you must try. Find some help from a counselor about how to do this or maybe from a trusted family member. You might try to get him involved in sports. I know it might sound strange, but a boxing club is sometimes great for young men like Vincent. One of the best things you can do for him right now is for you to get closer to God. Let the Lord show you how to navigate this difficult time. And pray for your son every day.
Here’s a prayer for you…
O merciful Lord… pour out your protection and grace over Vincent…. set him free of the people and places that are not good for him… heal his heart from the loss of his father… guide Vincent with your Spirit and open his mind to embrace truth and goodness… help Cecilia to be patient and wise during this time… may she seek your presence for guidance, strength and courage… pour out your Spirit in abundance over her and her son… set them free in your grace, O loving Lord… in Jesus name, Amen.
Cecilia don’t take blame and burden on yourself. People fall into wrong places and get lead by wrong people despite what parents they have. Be there for him and keep showing the love rather than any judgement and keep praying that god will move. God is bigger than all situations and can bring healing in was we are not able and able to bring good from all circumstances so keep trusting him. I stand with you on prayer for protection over your son, and that love will be felt over peers and he returns home soon. In jesus redeeming name.

My heart goes out to you as a parent. It can’t be easy to be a single parent, parenting in itself is challenging at times!
None of us are perfect, we all make mistakes and even if we didn’t…kids would still rebel, make poor choices and do dumb things. Look at the example of the perfect Father-God. As loving, compassionate and perfect as He is, we (His children) still fall, rebel against Him, thinking we know what is best for ourselves and our life and go astray. As a mother myself, I want to encourage you to continue to fervently pray for your son. As Vincent’s mom God has given you authority over your son, there is power is your prayers for him! Jesus promises to never leave or forsake you Cecilia, lean on Him, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY and leave it in His capable hands.

Lord I pray for Cecilia, her heart is heavy for her son Vincent and the choices he is making. Fill Cecilia with your perfect peace. Guide her giving her strength, godly wisdom, clarity, patience and faith for what she cannot see. Help her to not grown weary in doing good, for she will reap a harvest if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Lord, You alone know the broken, hurt and perhaps bitter places that have taken root in Vincent’s heart, He needs the touch of his Father. Bringing healing, restoration and wholeness to his soul. Soften his heart and open his eyes to see things how they truly are. Remove the people in his life who are influencing him to join a gang. Lord, thank you that You are a God full of mercy, compassion and loving kindness to Your children and that You care about every thing in our lives. Please Lord or anyone reading this, pray for me and my partner Hugh. He has left me and our baby. I feel broken hearted and so upset. Please Lord try to help me. I’m so helpless and feel that I want him to realise and come back. I want him to support both me and the baby and understand what I’m going through. I’ve been so sympathetic and would love for him to realise to stand by me and our small new baby. Even just having his support. I have tried disconnecting, being supportive, not caring, everything I have tried! I’m struggling so much and need you Lord to show him some light and guidance. I don’t expect him to change overnight but I believe in your miracles Lord. Please please I will follow your guidance and submit my baby to you by baptism and following in your path of Christianity.
I cry every night and feel so alone, how will I cope and what will happen to me and my baby. Please help me this is everything I want and it’s my family lord

I am so sorry you are going through this painful time. God loves and cares about you, your little baby and your partner and He hears and answers our prayers. I want to encourage you to keep seeking God, praying -even when you don’t see the answer. God’s timing is not always ours and we often times can’t see how He is working things out for us.

Natasha I too know the pain and hurt of feeling alone and loosing people precious. God remained with me and carried me through. I learnt that I needed to rely on him and not people individuals or relationships to meet my needs. He provided support and comfort. It isn’t easy so I pray that god will comfort and strengthen you that he will provide your needs each and everyday and that you learn that god is the ultimate fulfiller. I pray for softening of hearts that the opportunity for understanding between you and Hugh will come about and communication flows. Father, we know that all healing comes from You. So I ask that however You choose to bring about healing for Laura’s digestive issues, wether it be through medical science; give her Drs. wisdom and compassion and enable any mediation she is given to properly work, giving relief to her. Or the touch of Your hand; touch Laura’s body with Your healing touch Lord; bring comfort and restore what has been diseased or not working correctly to her body. Fill her with Your perfect peace, calming any anxiety or fears she may have. Strengthen her and help her to feel Your loving presence bringing comfort and hope to her heart. Relax her blood vessels bringing her blood pressure to a healthy range. When she lays down at night, give her sweet and restful sleep, knowing You watch over her. Help her to always to remember to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Your Word tell us, that if we draw close to You Lord, You will draw close to us (James 4:8). I pray that Laura will always draw close to You, and have a heart that loves You above all else.

I have struggled with crippling fear many times in my life. Trusting in God and His Word has helped me and given me peace. Isaiah 42:10 is one of my favorite verses “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Here are a few more I hope will encourage and help you. God’s Bible is powerful, it’s His Word. When I am overwhelmed with fear, along with praying, I focus on scriptures, because I know they are true.
“But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.’ ” Isaiah 43:1
“Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31

“Say to those who have an anxious heart, ‘Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.’ Isaiah 35:4

Lord I pray for Brittiney that You would fill her with Your perfect peace. Send Your angels as a hedge of protection around her and her family. Lord Your Word tells us “that You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) Give Brittney clarity of mind, strengthen her and help her to feel Your comforting presence.. Calm any anxious thought she may have and help her to sleep peacefully when she lays down, knowing that You, Lord neither sleep or slumber (Psalm 121:4) and will watch over her and her children always.
