  1. I pray that no matter the attacks. That God grace and Mercy continue to guide us through. Our comforter, our Redeemer. Our Strength. My God help me accept ur goodness more, accept your love more, being you brought me out of so much darkness and fear. The enemy keep coming with spiritual attacks and I need the Holy Spirit , to keep me through, and Jesus to get me through in the name of Jesus. I am healed , healthy, whole and strong and by ur stripes im healed. Because thats what the Lord said. I pray power over my circumstances. In the name God .

  2. Hi my Prayer Warrior Friends!
I am finally feeling stronger and things are getting back to normal in my life. I wanted to say thank you so much to Vincent, Colin and Jean for your prayers, and anyone else who prayed. You can’t know how much I appreciate them, I really do depend on you guys! So, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Along with being so sick, what also snuck in, after I started recovering was a really dark week for me. Depression, hopelessness, fear…yuck. I don’t know if it was an emotional response to being so sick, or a spiritual attack. But the darkness lifted, and as always God is good and He is always faithful!
I love this beautiful song by Chris Tomlin titled “ I Lift My Hands”. It was one I would sing over and over in my head when I was struggling with the darkness. I hope the link works, it’s worth listening to.❤️

    Love,
    Jan
    “I Lift My Hands”
Be still, there is a healer
His love is deeper than the sea
    His mercy is unfailing
His arms, a fortress for the weak
    Let faith arise
    Let faith arise
I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge, You are my strength
As I pour out my heart, these things I remember
    You are faithful, God, forever
Be still, there is a river
    That flows from Calvary’s tree
    A fountain for the thirsty
Pure grace that washes over me
Let faith arise (Let faith arise)
Let faith arise (Let faith arise)
I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge, You are my strength
As I pour out my heart, these things I remember
    You are faithful, God, forever
I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge, You are my strength
As I pour out my heart, these things I remember
    You are faithful, God, forever
Let faith arise, let faith arise
Open my eyes, open my eyes
Let faith arise, let faith arise
Open my eyes, open my eyes
I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge, You are my strength
As I pour out my heart, these things I remember
    You are faithful, God, forever
And I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge, You are my strength
As I pour out my heart, these things I remember
    You are faithful, God
    You are faithful, God, forever
    Let faith arise
    Let faith arise

    • Hello Jan!
How wonderful to have you back!
Praise God for your healing and for bringing you out of that dark place.
As always, Jesus turns the tables on the evil one. The Lord changes our shame and hurt into his victory, and he leave us with his loving grace. He builds us up even stronger for his purposes.
I’m so thankful to see this message from you and to see you back in action helping people. You provide such tender care to us here.
Welcome back Jan. God’s richest blessings to you!
      Vincent

      • Thank you for you kind words Vincent. This site has been such a blessing in my life, it’s an honor to be even a small part of it. I hold you all dear to my heart.
I have to apologize for the video I posted. I never would have purposely done anything like that without your permission first. I thought at best I was adding a link to the (song)video, and I wasn’t even sure I was going to be successful doing that. I’m so sorry….😳
Have a blessed Easter my friend!
        In Him,
        Jan

    • Jan it’s wonderful to hear from you. I’m humbled by your kind words and feel it should be me thanking you for your wisdom strength love and encouragement. The Lord is with you and annointed you. No matter how dark a day may get God is shining on you with love and pride. He is so excited by you and wanting to show off his daughter whom he has blessed. Your faith carried you through the devil’s attacks to try and depress you and separate you from God while you were ill and weak. That how scared he is of what you do. Keep strong and bless you Jan. Your valued more than you know. Oh you also have great taste in worship music 🙂

  3. I’m asking for a prayer request.. I honestly feel I don’t know how to pray but I was told a few times there’s not a direct way that your supposed to pray or send a prayer out. I was also told it’s simply talking to the lord and not really asking or looking for favors .. I believe in the lord but I honestly haven’t been to church .. listened to the word nor really took the time to pray (all the while feeling like I don’t know how to but I still sit and ask the lord for help from time to time in small situations I feel are tough to go through ) but I do have faith and it sounds like a rambled message but I’m coming to seek a prayer as humbly as I know .. for my family. The family I’ve created.. myself .. relationships and issues 😦 it’s probably too much to type and also too much to ask for how big of a prayer request I want to send out but here’s a small start. Please. I need all that you can give I’m not at a “rock bottom” type of situation but sometimes when pressures get too heavy it sure feels like it. Thank you I appreciate the time that was took to read and acknowledge this request

    • Adrianna it I correct there is no right way to pray. The Same you working think how you talk to your best friend or co worker etc. Just close eyes and say things as it is. Let all things in heart out good or bad. Shout hurts if have to cry tears if they come but God will listen t every word no matter how it is said. Just talk as you would to anyone else. The best thing is God always listen and understands everyword unlike a person who can be distracted etc. He cares about even the smallest things about you. I have prayed asking for a parking space easily before.
god is aware of the relational issues you have so bring them to him say how you feel and what yo desire to happen. Nothing wrong with being selfish in prayer when you put faith in God

Lord I pray you be with Adrianna. Thank you for her believe. Give her the courage and boldness to come to you for help and her needs. Touch her and let her know your prescence lord and let not doubts or uncertainty come into her mind. Watch over each member of the family. Soften hearts and bring love and communication to restore what has been lost. Make a move lord Jesus as we out our faith in you and give you the glory for you unfailing reckless love. In Jesus name amen

    • Dear Adriana,

I’m so glad you stopped by the prayer board! What you are feeling is completely normal. I’d like to try and help you, by telling you what has helped me, come to understand about prayer.
You are right, prayer is just talking to Lord. So, why can it seem challenging? I think often times we forget that God truly wants to hear from us., and appealing to the God of heaven and earth seems intimidating. But God, like any Father longs to have communication with his children. God wants to have a close, intimate relationship with us, He wants us to know Him. We get to know God and His ways, through His Word-the Bible. As our relationship with Him grows, it becomes easier to talk to Him. Ultimately, Prayer is a-lining our heart with His will, which brings us joy, peace and comfort, because we have learned to walk in His ways, and to trust Him in all things and situations. Now, this is a life long process, this growing thing! God is full of mercy and patience, He does not give us on us when we have times of doubt, and confusion. So often when we don’t see an answer to our prayers, we become discouraged and feel that God doesn’t hear us. But, when we belong to the Lord, He does hear us. Often, it’s His timing the answer is “not yet”, or the answer could be “no”…that is where our trust in Him is so important.
The Bible gives us many scriptures that give us insight on how to pray:

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication(asking God’s help) with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. “Philippians 4:6

And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us”. 1 John 5:14

When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray:

“Pray along these lines: ‘Our Father in heaven, we honor your holy name. 10 We ask that your kingdom will come now. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven. 11 Give us our food again today, as usual, 12 and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us. 13 Don’t bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One.Amen.’ 14-15 Your heavenly Father will forgive you if you forgive those who sin against you; but if you refuse to forgive them, he will not forgive you.” Matthew 6:9-15

What Jesus says about not giving up when it comes to prayer:

“Then, teaching them more about prayer,he used this illustration: “Suppose you went to a friend’s house at midnight, wanting to borrow three loaves of bread. You would shout up to him, ‘A friend of mine has just arrived for a visit and I’ve nothing to give him to eat.’ 7 He would call down from his bedroom, ‘Please don’t ask me to get up. The door is locked for the night and we are all in bed. I just can’t help you this time.’
8 “But I’ll tell you this—though he won’t do it as a friend, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you everything you want—just because of your persistence.” Luke 11:5-8

I hope this has helped Adriana. It isn’t complicated, I hope all my words didn’t make it seem that way. I want to encourage you to continue to get to know Him. Try and set aside time each day to spend with Him, in reading or listening to His Word. If you seek Him with your whole heart, you will find Him (He promises you that! Jeremiah 29:13 ), talking to Him. If you feel in your heart you need help, ask Him to show you how to pray. You might not feel His leading right away, often it can take our hearts awhile to hear His voice, but you will. God bless you Adriana, please come back! It’s my honor to pray for you and your family.

Lord I pray that You would bless Adriana and her family. God, You know the all places in our hearts that need healing and wholeness. I ask that You would touch those in Adriana’s family that need this. Fill her and that of her family with Your perfect peace Jesus “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27. So much pressure is upon our families today, with a world that has become unfamiliar and complicated. I ask that You would soften the hearts of those in the family that are in need of that, and that the bonds of this family would be strengthen and that peace and unity would reign over them. Help them to have hearts that are forgiving and may their words be kind and loving to each other.
May their greatest desire be to know and follow You Lord, the One true God.
Thank you for bringing Adriana here today. Help her to feel Your loving presence Lord. Guide her steps as You promise in Your Word ““I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalm 32:8. Thank you that You are a God who is not cold and remote, but a God who loves His children with endless mercy, compassion and loving kindness. Thank you Father for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

    • Dear Adrianna,

I know exactly what you mean. I have been where you are right now. And you don’t have to hit rock bottom to begin to get better. God is always ready to help, but he waits until we are ready to come closer to him. It’s never an obligation or by force. It’s a call to love. You are starting off just fine by asking the Lord for help. Plus, the fact that you call him “the Lord” shows you respect him. That’s great!

The best part is that you are actively seeking. That is joyful. You are beginning a wonderful journey. Don’t be afraid. Keep going. It’s not about easy solutions. It’s about being real, honest, and faithful. It’s about being forgiven and loved beyond measure.

I’m the owner of this site, and I will send you a prayer guide by email which might help you. If you don’t see it, email me at contact@prayerforanxiety.com, and I can resend it.

I am and will be praying for you and your family.
      God bless,

    • Adriana, there is no right or wrong way to pray. You just tell God what is in your heart, he doesn’t judge you. I will keep you and your family in my prayers also.

  4. Mary, I am so sorry about the anxiety you’re suffering. One thing that really helps me, when racing thoughts run through my mind is to focus on favorite scriptures, saying them out loud if need be. God’s Word tells us “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things” Philippians 4:8. I know that is so hard to do when we feel we can’t control the racing thoughts, but God’s Word is powerful, and it can bring peace to your heart and mind. Just as it is important to memorize scripture to help us with the temptation of sin, having verses, in memory, that you can speak that declare God’s power and love in your life will begin to break those chains. Here is one of my favorite scriptures “ Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”.
    Isaiah 41:10
I will keep you in my prayers dear heart.❤️

Lord I pray that You would fill Mary with Your perfect peace. Calm the anxious thoughts that race through her mind stealing her peace. Lord we know these are not from You. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Give clarity to her mind, where there are negative, fearful or thoughts of confusion. Help her to know that as she lays down at night, that You, God neither slumber and sleep and You lovingly watch over her. Give her sweet sleep, that allows her body to rest. I pray that she will always turn to You in prayer when she is troubled. You are our refuge and strength. Lord, comfort her and bring healing to the places in her heart that only You can see, bringing wholeness and liberty from the things that may bind her. Thank you Father that You are full of compassion, mercy and loving kindness for Your children. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

    • Lord bring peace to mary. Your grace is always sufficient and you promise to lift all anxiety when we come to you. Enable her to lay her burdens down to you, the one able to do take them and deal with them. Perfect love drives out fear and your love is never ending and never failing. Thank you for that lord jesus
