Thank you that You promise us in Your Word that “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him” James 1:5. Katiego, restless sleep is the worst! I will be honored to pray for you. What helps my mind to calm down, then it allows my body to relax is to read scriptures before I turn out the lights. The Psalms are wonderful reminders of God’s strength, His love and mercy. There is power in the Word of God, when You trust and have a relationship with it’s author! I pray and meditate on scripture and for myself, it brings peace to my mind and body. Here are some good scriptures to meditate on anytime, especially when sleep doesn’t come easy.
Psalm 121:3-4
He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He,who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
Proverbs 3:24
If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Psalm 4:8
In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Lord I pray that You will fill Katiego with Your perfect peace, Bring sleep to him in a gentle way, calming any anxious thoughts. Help his body to relax and his mind to think on “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8 Bring sweet, restful sleep to him, allowing him to wake in the morning rested and recharged. Katlego, praying that you find the rest that you need.
I’ve been trouble by health concerns that tests showed nothing was wrong with my heart. I’m suffering palpations daily and constantly through our the day and night.
This has brought on aniexty and depression, my normal day has changed fretting over why this is happening and why is hasn’t stopped.
I need prayer I don’t think mine are getting answered
Don’t stop praying Jorge… trust in the goodness and mercy of God. What helps me is to read the Psalms. They help me so much to understand my anxieties. Remember, by the blood of Christ, you are a child of God. Nobody can take that from you. Rest on that truth.

Prayers are always listened to Jorge so never stop. As Paul said perseverance brings character which brings hope. God is at work even when we don’t feel or see it. Keep the faith strong

Dear Jorge, I want to encourage you, don’t give up on reaching out to God in prayer. We have ALL felt at one time or another that God must not be hearing our prayers, when we don’t see answers. He loves You deeply, wants a loving and close relationship with you. He wants to hear from you! His Word tells us “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6.
I can so understand your anxiety over palpitations, I suffered with them, and they are very unsettling!
I am not a Dr., but I would like to share with you, my similar experience with them and what was an answer to prayer (several years later) in my life.
I started to experience them first at night, heart racing, and what felt like my heart skipping. One night they were so bad, I went to the ER. Nothing, showed up. I finally ended up seeing a Cardiologist. He sent me home with a Holter Monitor The reading showed I was experiencing a “premature heart beat, it had to do with the firing of my heart, it was not a dangerous heart rhythm he was concerned with (at least I think that is close to the diagnosis this was 30+yrs.ago). So, for me that did give me peace of mind. I took it as a answer to prayer and I choose to live with it (I could have taken a RX to slow my heart rate down). They still would often would keep me up at night. Years later I tuned into a Christian talk show on the radio. A Nutritionist was the guest that day and was talking about Magnesium deficiency and it’s symptoms. I hadn’t heard all of the program but when he said “fatigue” I was hopeful because that was something I was experiencing. I started taking a low dose as recommended on the bottle. Months went by, I was disappointed because it did not take away my fatigue. It wasn’t until I heard the Nutritionist speaking again on magnesium deficiency, giving the complete list of symptoms. When he said “heart palpitations” I realized I hadn’t been having them at all the past several months! I only took an over the counter/health food store magnesium dose. This might be something you might want to run by your Dr. I will say, no one, ever tested my magnesium levels, so I don’t know if I was lacking. I do know that they went away.

Lord I lift up Jorge to You in prayer. Fill him with You perfect peace. Lord heal and take away the palpitations. They are robbing him of peace, sleep and well being. Whether You choose to heal him by the touch of Your powerful hand or provide healing through medicine, we know all healing is from You. If healing comes by way of medicine; give his Drs. wisdom, compassion and be resolute to bring relief to Jorge.
Calm his anxious thoughts, his fears and lift the depression from his heart. Lord we know none of these things come from You, as Your Word tells us “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:7. Help him to have the faith and trust in You, that brings glory to You Lord. and peace to his life. Thank you that You are a God that is not remote and unapproachable, but that You are full of mercy, loving kindness and compassion to Your children. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. Calm any fears, any anxious thoughts she may have. Give her godly wisdom and clarity to make good decisions and choices in her life for herself and her children. Help her to see and know that she is never alone. That You,God have promised to never leave or forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).
Remind her Lord, to draw near to You, and then You will draw near to her ( James 4:8). Let her praise and worship of You Father rise daily; because You alone are worthy of our praise.
Thank you Father that when we praise you with all our heart and soul, You inhabit our praise. As we open our heart to You in praise, You give our heart more capacity to receive Your love, joy, peace and power. Pushing out; fear, loneliness, doubts and anxiety. Thank you Father for always giving us more than we can even think of or ask for!
