I’m trying so hard to make this marriage work but my husband have a bad attitude. He didn’t know how to talk to me like a husband should
Latonya, I will sure be praying for you and your husband. I know it can lead to frustration as a woman when our husbands don’t show us respect in the way they speak to us. I would encourage you to pray for husband. Pour you heart out to the Lord, ask Him to give you patience and to show you how to pray specially for him. Lord I lift up Latonya.to You. Please give her patience and strength. I pray that her husband’s heart would be softened and he would look to you Lord to help him be a godly man. I want to fix my mistakes in my life…I know who I’m now and I want to return to the real me that I should have done.
Even though people don’t know the real me and my ex-boyfriend too. Since we broke up, I really miss my ex and I still love him. I want us back together. I have been praying for him to come back. It’s hard for me and I will keep fighting for it no matter what.

Vivien know there is no right or wrong time or way to pray. When ever you need to or desire to or feel led to just speak and God will be listening. He never looses signal or battery or puts on voice mail. And if not sure what to say just speak whatever on heart as if you talking to your best friend. The more you do it the easier and more often you will and gain strength from it more and more. Start a simple conversation today.
Vivien, there is no right or wrong way to pray. I pray each morning before getting out of bed, I thank God for another day and for always being there for me. I ask God to help _________. and to help me to be a better person and to be kind and help others. then throughout the day, I pray to. Then at night I pray thanking God for getting me through another day and so on.

I am asking prayers for our son who is currently studying out of the country. He had been so cold and aloof with us in the past two years, doesn’t answer our calls or texts, lying and doing things that is unusual of him after he got into a relationship with a liberated girlfriend who’s influence and values seem to be opposite of what he grew up with. He’s experiencing all this freedom that is new to him being away from us and he hangs out and is exposed with the wrong crowd. He is distracted, losing focus and is often confrontational with hatred in his heart. Now he accuses us of messing his childhood by depriving him of freedom living in a sheltered life. All that we did in the past was in good faith, worked hard for them, encouraged them to be kind and do things that will be pleasing in His eyes. We are not perfect and we had our own family struggles too, but we tried to be good parents. Pls help me pray for God to protect him, give him wisdom, touch and heal his heart, ease his mental anguish from negative thoughts and not get influenced by corruptions of this modern world. Bring back his pure, happy and contented heart. Also asking prayers for us as parents to give us strength and to persevere in guiding him to the right path that with God’s help will give him peace and contentment knowing he is treasured and loved.

I am reminded of the prodigal son, love for each other over comes all disappointment and separation. I identify with what you say as I often blamed my parents for shelteringe too much and I wasn’t prepared for the world and all I throws at you. I never said it to them but was in my heart. I grew out of that tho and now carefor them in their old age.

Dear Gems, This happens a lot when kids leave home. But remember, you planted the seeds of truth and faith already. It will not go to waste. Don’t lose hope due to his negative behavior, even if it hurts. Keep loving and serving your son. Place limits when you have to. But above all, claim and trust in the promises God has for you and your family. It will take time. It will hurt sometimes, but the Lord is faithful. Claim this and stand firm upon God’s promises.

Gems, I am so sorry for the worry and concern you are feeling. When I read your post, it reminded me so much of myself and my situation with my youngest son. The heart of a mother is so intense and carries a huge amount of concern, care and responsibility. There is nothing like it.
My prayers for you will be for comfort and peace. Rest in the Lord and tell Him you trust Him and his ways. He is with your boy, watching over him and making sure he is safe. Unfortunately, we have to let them go and find their way, probably like most of us did to our parents. Cast your cares on the Lord Gems and I will keep you and your family in mine. ❤
