  1. PLEASE pray for my husband Paul . He is badly addicted to Meth and alcohol. He is supposed to be taking psychotic medication and hasn’t for at least 3 or 4 months. It’s ruined our marriage of 16 years. I love him so much and cannot accept this is happening. He is went to jail yesterday because I called the crisis line for help. It didn’t go well and because of his behavior he got charged with open container, no seatbelt and something else I can’t remember. I just wanted them to take him to the hospital and they couldn’t. He hates me now and told me to get out of his life. The night before he was experiencing alcohol poisoning symptoms. I want him to know that I did what I did because I’m scared he’s going to die and I love and care for him. The people that are in his life now are not his friends and are ruining our lives.

    • Lori, sending prayers your way for you and your husband. Addiction is a serious disease that steals our children and our loved ones from us. i pray that Jesus will help Paul see what his addiction is doing to you and him, and get the help he needs. What you did, had to be done, you were trying to help him. Addicted individuals do not see what they are doing to themselves or their family. My son is an alcoholic, I live one day at a time.

Jesus please bless this family and help Paul understand what drugs are doing to him and to his wife Lori. Father help Paul to get the help he needs. In Jesus’s name. Amen

    • Dear Lori… I’m so sorry to hear about the hard trials you are going through. Addiction is so devastating. Of course we will pray for Paul.. and for you.

Oh Lord, send your help and healing to Paul… break the chains of his addiction… set him free… free him from the lies of the enemy… pour out your mercy and healing love oh Lord… comfort him and bring clarity to his mind and heart… give Lori your strength and peace… let all of this lead them to Christ… let all of this lead them home to you… in Jesus name, Amen.

I will keep praying for you both!

  2. I have been overcome with the added chores of caring for two young grandsons for the last 3 1/2 years. Here with the holidays closing in on us, I have just lost all desire to make and prepare for the joyous season. I feel I have no joy left in me, I’m feeling depressed and ignored except whenever the family is hungry or needs something. I know this is wrong and I’m trying to fight off these feelings, but they are tightly holding me down. Our home is so full of “stuff”. There is no room to put up a tree. The perimeter of every room is lined with “stuff”. There is no place for all this “stuff”” I am ready to give up trying to make it presentable. I am living in a male household, my husband, our son and his two boys. Not feeling the help or support needed to provide for everyone. Can’t get time for myself so I can fuel up for the next days work ahead
I just don’t know how to keep up and keep going.
I fell todsy going down the basememt stairs, made quiet a bit of noise. Did anyone come to check to see if I was ok? No. And yet, I find myself running around checking to see if anyone/everyone is doing ok. I’ve just about had it, if you know what I mean. I’ve been married 47+ years, it hasn’t always been like this.

    • Dear CJ… What a tough situation you are in. It’s understandable how you feel. Feeling ignored hurts. I’m not sure how your faith life is, but to get through any difficulty, your relationship with God is the key. It protects and nourishes you, even if the rest of the world can’t give you what you need. The answer is there — in the Son of God. Seek him in the Bible and in prayer. Get connected with your church too.

Consider talking to your husband about how you feel. Pray before you speak. Ask God to help you avoid any hurtful words. Ask the Lord to protect your hearts.

Pray everyday for change. It might not happen soon, but it will happen. Trust. Believe.

I will be praying for you and your entire family!

  3. Please pray for my daughter Jenna. She just had her daughter, dogs, home and everything taken from her from the abusive father who never married her and nothing was in her name. She wants to die and said she list everything and has no reason to live. We don’t know where she is tonight in Idaho somewhere.

    Please pray

    • Dear Terrie – How sad! It must be so hard for you right now. Poor Jenna.

Oh Lord… send your Spirit and angels to care for Jenna. Hear her mother’s cry… cast out the enemy, oh Lord… set the captives free… pour out your grace and protection… have mercy oh Lord… by the blood of Christ and in the name of Jesus, Amen.

I will be praying for Jenna and the entire family.
