    • Dear Dawn,
I am a caregiver, also. I practiced as an RN and worked for hospice for almost 10 years. I, also, have issues with anxiety and depression. Your prayer request reached out to me. It is difficult to lose our loved ones. And, after spending days and nights with someone, they become family. I have sat at many a bedside as a patient passed away. And, I find it a true honor to be with someone when they take their last breath. There is no small talk. No chit chat. Just presence. And, know that even if the person appears comatose, eyes closed, unable to talk, she knows you are there. She can hear you. She can feel you.

One afternoon, when I was working for hospice, I was called to a home to pronounce a lady who had passed on. There was no heartbeat, no breathing, and it was obvious physical life had left her. Her face was expressionless. I walked into the other room to talk with the family. When we returned to see her, she had the most beautiful, radiant smile on her face. I can see it in my mind, still. I am not sure why I tell you that.

I pray with you. For strength. To overcome our demons, one moment at a time. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. And I hope this gives you peace. You are not alone.

      Love and Peace,
      Cindy

    • The Lord bless you Dawn, where would we be without kind, caring people like you? The fact that you are caring for these people while you feel like you do shows you are alot stronger than you think. I pray that God will strengthen you and ease your burdens. He sees your heart and He loves you more than you can imagine. Peace, strength and blessings to you. Amen
