My daughter and I have a very volatile relationship. Over a year ago she gave me an ultimatum. Counseling or I could not have a relationship with her unborn baby. I’ve been through counseling and it was very difficult. I didn’t feel I wanted to go that route. I believe it was a matter of controlling me on her part. When her dad refused to take her side in the issue, she turned on him. In December I had a heart attack called Takotsubo or broken heart syndrome. It’s brought on by stress and happens to post menopausal women. At this point I’m barely going to church. I am beginning to feel bitter and angry. I’m losing touch with Christ. Btw, my daughter has denounced Christ as the Messiah and converted to Judaism.
Please pray for us. I would love to have my walk with Christ restored and feel loving towards her again but more than anything I’d love to see my daughter back within His fold again. Thank you so much.
