  1. I need your prayers to decide what to do in my present situation. I have been married for almost 52 years. I recently found out that my husband has periodically picked up prostitutes for the past 13 years. In recent years he has formed relationships with two of them, setting them up with homes, furniture, cars, insurance and on and on. He is 71 and he told them he is now 55. The ladies are 25 and 33, young and pretty. They claim to love him and do not know about each other. I am almost 70, attractive for my age and look younger but not that young. I don’t want to live alone. I am alone most of the time anyway and I get so lonely sometimes I just break down and cry. He moves me further and further out in the country so I am isolated. I feel so dumb. Why didn’t I realize what was going on. He is self-employed, uses his cell phone constantly. He has stopped seeing the one who is left but she is living in a home we own. He must contact her sometimes. I have always felt that even with all the lies he has told me through the years, I could depend on his fidelity. He was home every evening and saw his lady friends during the day when I thought he was working. He owns his own business and can arrange appointments to fit in with his affairs. How can I forgive this? I know I will never forget. I just would like to be happy and not so lonely. Even when he’s here he is either watching a ballgame, cutting grass, or sleeping. There is never andy time for me. I guess I am already living alone. I have an appointment with a marriage counselor tomorrow. I have talked with my parish priest, told my best friend and his family found out but not from me, I tried to protect him because they all think he walks on water. My daughters and older grandchildren know. It is so sad. I did not tell anyone, one daughter had already known and she let the others know what I was going through and wanted them to understand why I was acting strange. I have FM and Spinal Stenosis and when I was finally diagnosed is when it started. He thought I was an invalid and didn’t want me anymore.

    • Dear Giorgianna – I can’t give you specific answers about what to do. What I can tell you is to let the roots of your faith grow down as deep as possible during this painful time. Seek Christ in all things and rest in his faithfulness.
May God guide, protect and heal you. May the blessings of Jesus somehow find their way to shine in the darkness. May the Lord pour out his grace, mercy and love upon you and your family. In Jesus name, Amen.

    • Praying for you Marsha. May the Lord free you and heal you. May his mercy, peace and grace be given to you abundantly. In Jesus name, Amen.

  2. Pray for my son and exhusband. My boy is five. My husband left me when I was pregnant. We reconciled when he born, but he left again when he was two. We tried counseling, but he kept dating another woman and so I let him go. I miss him and we are still friends in many ways, but I don’t think he’s coming back. So I pray he would come to have Jesus in his heart and that you would help me be a good Mom and help my little boy through this loss.

    • Dear Kathleen – May the Lord pour out his mercy and love over you and your family. May your heart be healed and restored by his Spirit. May the Lord’s will be done in your life. May he protect you and transform your family with his eternal grace. In Jesus name, Amen.

  3. Please pray for me. My anxiety is out if control lately. The panic attacks make me feel like I am going to die. I ask you Dear Lord to ease my suffering. I am trying to give everything to God.

  4. Please pray for me trapped in sin and addiction and feeling unable to get out of it. Not wanting to let down the woman I love or anyone else and wanting to be a shining example to others of Gods love . Thank you

    • Dear Friend – Praying that God extends his mighty hand to free you from the chains of addiction. May he install in your heart a spirit of repentance and restoration. May he build your character on the Rock that is Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
