Prayer For Anxiety 
Prayers are asked for my son who is struggling to find himself. Lost w mental issues and probably past and present drug use. Needs professional help but unable to surrender. Struggles to be self sufficient although wants to be. No friends and broken relationships w family. Alone. Needs God’s intervention. Thx!
Peggy, I am so sorry he and you are having to go through this. Addiction is horrible and it is so widespread. I will keep your son and you in my prayers.
Dear Father, please come to Peggy’s son today. Help him to have the confidence to speak with someone about his addiction. I trust that you can lead him out of this prison, that you can heal his mind and body. Set him free of his addiction and his loneliness. Cover him with your love and grace, until, with your help Lord, he can walk in freedom, break out and fully live again. Amen.
I will pray for him and you. God will always help.
Lord I pray over Peggy and her son. I pray for define healing and restoration. I pray for courage to seek help and to speak to the right people guide him as he takes the next steps in life and that they will be steps of recovery. Nothing is too great for you and you desire to heal hearts and minds and break chains that hold us so we and break the chains that hold him back, all the fears hurts and insecurities that affect him mentally and free him. Let Peggy be bold and confident in her prayers and faith in you and know you are in control. We pray this in your name amen

Lord I lift Peggy’s son up to You in prayer. He is alone and needs You Lord. Please bring loving, strong believers into his life to be a help and a blessing to him. Soften his heart Jesus, and may the desire to follow after You begin to grow in it. You are all he needs. Only You, can heal the brokenness of his heart and mind and bring true joy and purpose to his life. When there are confusing, muddled thoughts in his head, give him clarity and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Bring healing to both his body and mind. Where there is drug abuse or any kind of self medicating, we know You can heal him with the touch of Your hand God, or through professional’s skilled in addiction. We know all healing comes from You, whatever way in Your wisdom You choose to use.
Bring healing and restoration to the broken relationships in his life. Fill Peggy with Your perfect peace. By the power of Your Holy Spirit guide her as she pray’s for her son, showing her any areas that she needs to bring to You on his behalf. Strengthen her heart and help her to not grow weary in doing good, so that in due season she will reap, if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Help her feel Your love and comfort Lord. We thank You Father, that You are bigger than any circumstance or problem we may face in life. Thank you for Your loving kindness, mercy and love You have for Your children. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

It’s so hard when our children struggle, isn’t it? Sometimes all we can do is pray and wait. Remember, this is just one chapter of your son’s life. It was hard for me many times to not project… that is, think that since my sons were struggling, that things can’t get better. They can! They will! Be there for him in service, love and prayer… Your son is so worth it!
Send your loving grace to Peggy’s son O Lord… pour out your healing and mercy… give Peggy peace and steadiness during this time… send your Spirt in abundance to set the son free from any problems with drugs… send helpful, healthy friends… may your hand work in every aspect of their lives O Lord… help Peggy to seek you and trust you… make all things new according to your will and your way, O merciful Lord… in Jesus name, Amen.

I’m feeling very anxious and stressed lately. I am taking a very important exam in the next coming months that will determine if I get into dental school. I study constantly but feel that I am going to fail. I know God works is watching over me but please pray for me to do well on my exam and the anxiety it is causing me to experience. Lord, I beg of you, please come down and cast away my anxiety and allow me to do well on my exam and accomplish my goals.
Lord I pray that You would fill Mary with Your perfect peace. Calm any anxious thoughts she has and give her a sound mind that has clarity and is not fearful, because we know fear does not come from You Lord.(2 Timothy 1:7). Father I pray that when the negative thoughts come into her mind that she would focus on Your truth: that she is loved by You and that You will help her and not let her foot to slip (Psalm 121:3). Help her to remember “Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, let her think about these things”.(Philippians 4:8). I pray that she will trust in You above all else and come to You in prayer when she feels overwhelmed with anxiety. Your Word tells us to “not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6.
When she lays down to rest at night, give her peaceful and sweet sleep, so she will wake up in the morning feeling well rested and refreshed.
Give her wisdom and help her thoughts to be clear and focused as she takes her exam and giver her “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:7. Thank you for Your loving kindness to us Lord, and for hearing and answering our prayers. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Dear Mary, I know exactly how you feel. I faced a lot of tests over the years, and the experience isn’t fun at all! Don’t feel bad about being stressed. Who wouldn’t be? It is a big deal. Please take time for prayer… it helps so, so much. Also, distract yourself with something… exercise is a great stress reliever too. Find a way to connect with loved ones and friends too. Let them comfort you.
Remember, all of this builds your character as a child of God and future professional. All of this is part of the wonderful journey of your life!
Give Mary your peace O Lord… send your mercy to her in abundance… let her know, beyond the test, that she can rest in your loving grace… let her have confidence and clarity to do her best on the exam… let her come into that spacious place that is trust in God Almighty… bless Mary abundantly O loving Lord… in Jesus name, Amen.
Lord come with your peace onto Mary’s heart. Let not the devil’s lies and doubts penetrate her as you cover her in your love. Let he be confident that she is doing all the work she can and is blessed with your knowledge and skills you have provided. Let her trust your ways and you have a path for her and if she stays close to you nothing can stop your plans. Uncertainty is never easy lord and you know and understand her feelings. Enable Mary to channel her time and thoughts into study and faith you and not wasted on doubts that are designed to hold her back from the success I. Life you wish for her. Please pray for my grandson. He has anxiety and needs help to overcome it. Please pray for him. He is only 7.
Oh Denise, I am a grandma too, so I know how you feel. Grandchildren are a gift from God to us. As a grandma to another grandma, I know you pray for him and I encourage you to not give up. It is the greatest gift you can give to your children and grandchildren! I believe our grandchildren can never have too much love or prayer. Lord, I pray for Denise’s grandson, that you would fill this little one with Your perfect peace. Calm his anxious thoughts, help him to not have fear, because Lord we know that is not from You. But help his little heart to know and trust in You, since You are a refuge for Your children in times of trouble. If there are negative thoughts he is dealing with, I pray in the powerful name of Jesus, that he would be freed from that.
Give his parents godly wisdom to help him grow strong and to give him a solid foundation of a faith filled life, knowing and loving his Creator. I pray that You would fill Denise with peace. Yes Denise, I will pray for your grandson. How tough it must be for him being so young! I’m sure it’s hard for his parents as well. One thing that helps me with family struggles is to focus on the bigger picture… God’s picture. Today is not the last chapter of the story. Your grandson can get better. And your faith, prayers, support and love will all help to get there.

Jean I feel for you, feeling helpless and uncertain is so hard. I’m glad you are listening to music. I now listen to nothing but worship music and find it connects me so much to god and lifts me to remember that he is on the throne and he is in control. His ways are so much higher than ours so I know I do t understand the waiting, but God always moves whether we know it at the time or not. I also suggest the song take courage by kristene Di Marco or it is well by Lauren daigle. But more than anything keep the bible close at hand and keep praying. God listens to words of hurt and get and despair just as much as those of praise.
I am praying for you regularly. You are never forgotten nor alone with God.

Jean I am so sorry. I know the burden you are baring is heartbreaking. It is good you are listening to Christian music. I agree with Colin about praise and worship music and how it connects us to God, l. It has made such a difference in my walk. God is always worthy of our praise, no matter what we are going through. And He wants us to praise and worship Him. But I know it is hard to praise Him when we feel like we just can’t, that is where listening to it is even helpful to our hearts. I believe it is an effective tool in spiritual warfare. I will continue to keep you in my prayers Jean.

So sad you are feeling this way Jean! It’s encouraging to know though that you continue to seek the Lord. He pours out his consolation over you. You’ve been walking a path lined with thorns, that’s for sure. Your presence here and your testimony of faith encourages us. I know it hurts, I know it seems like there’s no hope, but you continue. It’s God working in you, and the fruit of that faith will be good. We are with you!
